The Center for Materials Innovation (CMI) is a multidisciplinary research center that aims to facilitate collaborative research across departments and promote partnerships between Yale University and external institutions to accelerate the development and industrial implementation of materials technologies innovated at Yale. The center also highly emphasizes collaborative efforts toward major funding opportunities to address future outstanding challenges identified by major agencies and industries.
